To build a stronger better, more effective you, you need a good foundation. That foundation will be what you will retreat to when the world crumbles around you.
No matter how together we are, sometimes things just don’t go our way. Whether it is a death in the family, an illness, an unexpected job change, or just a string of bad luck, there are times when we are shaken down to the core. That is why making sure that that core is strong and resilient is imperative—even when the stars are aligned and life is going great.
At my core I am an artist. I appreciate the beauty of life, the details, the feel and the texture of life. When I am busy—really busy—I know that I am losing touch with my core when I don’t, or can’t appreciate the beauty and the art that is woven into my every day.

How many of us slog through our professional careers and most of our live without even a thought as to what our true foundation is…. What a great opportunity you have, Meghan! And what a wake-up call for me…thanks for the re-mind. I’m going to pay particular attention to the beauty of tomorrow’s day (and I’m not going to do a lick of work that benefits my employer…tomorrow is mine alone.
